Update: Postponement of FEDHASA Cape Member Event on June 1 2021

Following the Presidential address on 30 May and the announcement that the country would move to an adjusted Lockdown Level 2, we had to make the swift decision to postpone the FEDHASA Cape Member event, scheduled to take place on 1 June.

While the event was planned in adherence with strict COVID-19 protocols and regulations, a number of registered attendees chose to cancel their attendance following the President’s address.

Keeping in mind that we have secured keynote guest speakers for the event, we took the decision swiftly to postpone the event to a later date, instead of hosting another virtual event.

We do understand that the decision is not a one-size-fits-all approach, but given the current circumstances, it is the best one we could have made as we continue to collectively strive to do what is best for our industry.

FEDHASA is closely monitoring the situation. We will set a new date and send out an invitation when circumstances allow us to do so.
