Upgrade to your DStv stay package – at no cost to you

Please see below as received from MultiChoice

As Africa’s most loved storyteller MultiChoice is committed to supporting our local television industry to tell our local stories.

This includes the broad importance of ensuring local news channels are always available for both local and foreign hotel guests in South Africa.

Whilst MultiChoice includes eNCA (DStv channel 403), SABC News (DStv channel 404) and Newzroom Afrika (DStv channel 405) as standard on all DStv STAY packages, constraints in channel capacity of hotel head ends can mean that not all these news channels are actively played out.

MultiChoice will therefore be supporting the industry with an upgrade program to address sites where this channel playout limitation could be an issue.

Subject to your approval, we will need to perform an onsite capability assessment to identify the scope of work for the upgrade. This assessment can be conducted by way of a DStv Accredited System Integrator or the hotel’s current installer. The upgrade will be done at no cost to you and your monthly subscription will also not be impacted. Please enter your property and contact information here.

MultiChoice further wishes to enter into an agreement with the hotel to ensure that the upgraded infrastructure will be used for the purposes as intended for a period of not less than 3 years. A separate written agreement will be proposed in this regard. Please kindly confirm your support for MultiChoice to include your company as part of this important initiative?

We are confident that this initiative will enhance your In-room entertainment offering, providing more value for your guests.

We look forward to hearing from you soon.
