  • Guess which US Celeb loves SA and would like to live here! Veteran Hollywood actor Tom Cruise has described South Africa as “incredible and amazing,” even saying he would love to live here. “It would be nice to live here,” the actor told a small group of people who’d gathered to welcome the Top Gun actor to Limpopo. Cruise is in the country filming Mission Impossible 8, which some have joked is about getting a driver’s license or visiting the Home Affairs department. Read more here.
  • Airports Company South Africa (ACSA) has welcomed Condor Airline’s intent to operate direct flights from Frankfurt to Johannesburg, says Charles Shilowa, ACSA Group Executive: Strategy and Sustainability. Condor, a German-based leisure airline will launch two weekly flights between Frankfurt International Airport in Hessen, Germany, and OR Tambo International Airport in Gauteng from November 2022.
