Exciting news  – SA is getting a visit (post-COVID) from the international popular rock band – “Foreigner” (famous for hits such as “I want to know what love is”, “Feels like the first time”, “Juke Box Hero,” “Cold As Ice,” “Hot Blooded,” “Waiting For A Girl Like You,” and many more) – shows will be in October held in Jhb and CT … so crossing fingers accommodation places will benefit from fans from all over SA bookings to see these shows.

Due to greater demand, KLM is increasing its number of flights between Cape Town and Amsterdam to six flights per week commencing 11th July 2022 and fully vaccinated passengers from SA can now enter the Netherlands with no test requirements or quarantines.

Tourism has been getting a celebrity boost with Tom Cruise filming in a number of locations around SA but with KZN seeming to get the lion’s share of location shoots for the new Mission Impossible.  Many of the backdrops scenery shots appears to be in the Drakensberg – with the province consolidating its reputation for being a great location for international movie makers.
