The SABC TV Licence Division is aware that many businesses are still grappling with the impact of the COVID pandemic, especially those within the hospitality sector. While many businesses have reviewed their loyalty and reward programmes to their clients and reviewed discounts previously granted to ensure business sustainability during these unprecedented times, FEDHASA wishes to continue assisting businesses during this time. As announced in May, we have been able to once again secure the 25% discount on your SABC TV Commercial Licences. In most cases, this benefit actually offsets your annual membership fee of FEDHASA and therefore is a no-brainer from a cost-saving perspective:The 25% discount for all FEDHASA members whose TV Licence accounts are paid up will be granted, giving you a SAVING of R66,25 per TV set. The SABC will furthermore allow FEDHASA members a payment arrangement plan to pay off your 2021/2022 renewal over an agreed period to any of the paid-up FEDHASA members. This will avoid penalties being added to the account and licence holders being liable for the renewal fees only should they honour their arrangements. For SABC payment arrangements, please do so in writing to businesstvlic@sabc.co.za / 011 330-9702. No penalties will be added during this arrangement period. The renewal of Commercial TV Licence fees for the 2021/2022 period are due by 30/09/2021 PLEASE ALSO NOTE: All your outstanding accounts with the SABC must be paid by 14/07/2021 to qualify for the discount You also need to be a paid-up member of FEDHASA by 30 June 2021 to qualify for the above Disclaimer: With respect to the implementation of the POPI Act effective 01 July 2021, please let us know by Friday 11the June 2021 if you have any objection to us sharing your contact details with the SABC to ensure that your discount is applied to your respective account. We accept no response as your permission to share these details. You can expect your invoice from the SABC towards the end of August 2021. We trust that this special agreement from the SABC will assist our members in some way during these trying times. For any FEDHASA queries, please contact: |
