A hospitality provider based in Uganda has a vacancy for a highly motivated and experienced Managing Director to lead the company. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall strategy, operations, and growth of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement company strategy to achieve business goals and objectives.
- Oversee all aspects of operations, including sales, marketing, finance, and human resources.
- Manage budgets, resources, and staff to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
- Represent the company in negotiations, meetings, and events.
- Monitor market trends and develop plans to capitalize on new opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Foster a positive, productive, and innovative work environment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of senior leadership experience in the hospitality industry.
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team.
- Proven track record of driving growth and profitability.
- Ability to travel as needed.
