StatsSA has released the Liquidations and Insolvencies Key Findings report for January 2022.

Key findings: Liquidations and insolvencies January 2022

The total number of liquidations decreased by 1,6% in January 2022 compared with January 2021. Liquidations of close corporations decreased by 24 cases, while liquidations of companies increased by 22 cases during this period. The total number of liquidations decreased by 26,7% in the three months ended January 2022 compared with the three months ended January 2021.
