Limpopo has opened its first national Botanical Garden. The launch of the Thohoyandou National Botanical Garden by the Minister of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment, Barbara Creecy, took place on Sunday, May 22, the International Day for Biodiversity.  Read more here.

ACSA has reported that its passenger network recovery is at an all-time high. Airports Company South Africa (Acsa) reported that its network recorded a 48% recovery in passenger numbers for the financial year ending March 2022. This is compared to a similar period in the 2020 financial year leading to the COVID-19 crisis. This as air traffic in the 2021/2022 financial year was impacted by the third and fourth waves of new infections.  Read more here.
