Collaboration in the upcoming Census 2022

Statistics South Africa (Stats SA) will be conducting a population census scheduled to run between 3 to 28 February 2022.

Stats SA has reached out with a request to FEDHASA members to accommodate fieldworkers when they execute their duty in conducting the census.

Fieldworkers will visit all facilities to take a count of all the guests who were there during the Census night, i.e. midnight 2 February 2022.

This Census is the first to be conducted digitally and Stats SA has 3 modes of data collection that will be used to complete the questionnaire, these are

1. By Telephone
2. Online
3. Face-to-face, where Stats SA Fieldworker will visit homes and assist individuals in completing the questionnaire
