Cape Town Powering On – Join the discussion – 23 March ’23

Enver Duminy, CEO of Cape Town Tourism, Alderman James Vos, Mayoral Committee Member for Economic Growth and Councillor Beverley van Reenen – Mayoral Committee Member for Energy, invite you to participate in an interactive panel discussion on the current electricity challenges. The information exchange session will be an opportunity for the City’s Energy Directorate to share its plans for mitigating the risk and building resilience for the future, and for stakeholders in the tourism industry to share ideas and current interventions, which are helping them deal with the current outages.

The discussion will focus on energy solutions that can be implemented in the short and long term, as well as strategies for building resilience against future energy disruptions. We believe that this is an opportunity for the City and the tourism industry to work together to find practical solutions that will benefit the entire community.
