Amendments to the Mpumalanga Gambling Rules – November 2021

The Mpumalanga Economic Regulator has published amendments to the Gambling Rules gazetted in October 2018.

A draft of these amendments was forwarded to members for comment back in March 2021.

The publication provides for additions, deletions and amendments to definitions, monitoring and control systems (MSC), equipment, access control to the surveillance room, certain word amendments, MCS certification, remote access to hardware and software, computerised backups and others.

In the main, the changes apply to casino’s operators however both bingo and LPM licenced operators will need to read through certain sections.
