The National Small Enterprise Act of 1996 as amended requires that the Minister facilitates and establishes the Small Enterprise Development Agency and, by way of public consultation, determine a constitution for the Advisory Body.
The notice published on the 28th March 2024 provided the opportunity for public comment on a proposed draft constitution. The notice provided that public comment be forwarded in writing to Ms Sylvia Mabusela at SMabusela@dsbd.gov.za on or before the 16/17th April 2024. (20 days from the date of publication being the 28th March 2024)
For some reason the draft constitution was then published a second time on the 5th April 2024 – again with 20 days from publication for comment – will now close on the 25th or 26th April 2024.
