Occupational Health & Safety Act: Draft Physical Agents Regulation open for comment

The Minister of Employment and Labour has published a Draft Physical Agents Regulation in terms of the Occupational Health & Safety Act for public comment.

It is a fairly lengthy and comprehensive document and unfortunately not one that can be summarised or shortened in any meaningful way.  

It is in our members’ interest to please read this and provide feedback to Government, since if promulgated in its present form and depending on the nature of a particular working environment, it is more than likely going to place a significant management and cost burden on most businesses and small businesses in particular.
