What Dept of Labour Audit asks of you – a real life example

The Dept of Labour and Employment is currently conducting audits to determine compliance with the provisions of the Compensation for Occupational Injuries & Diseases Act 130 of 1993 (COIDA), as amended, as well as to provide information regarding COIDA.

FEHDASA advises its members to ensure that all necessary documentation is up to date and to ensure that they are compliant.

Establishments and businesses are normally given a week to 10 days’ notice in advance from the date they select to conduct an inspection on all the areas they wish to inspect and audit.
