Vacancy: CEO/Managing Director – Uganda

A hospitality provider based in Uganda has a vacancy for a highly motivated and experienced Managing Director to lead the company. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall strategy, operations, and growth of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement company strategy to achieve business goals and objectives.
  • Oversee all aspects of operations, including sales, marketing, finance, and human resources.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and staff to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
  • Represent the company in negotiations, meetings, and events.
  • Monitor market trends and develop plans to capitalize on new opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
  • Foster a positive, productive, and innovative work environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of senior leadership experience in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team.
  • Proven track record of driving growth and profitability.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
