Update: Supporting Skills Development in the Industry through special Partnerships

We’d like to express our utmost appreciation for the responses received for the UIF Hospitality Program. We have received over 40 letters of intent, and your contributions and support towards creating employment opportunities for South African youth are inspiring.

We are now preparing to finalise our application to the UIF (the sponsor of the program), where the closing date is 19 August and the letters will be submitted as supporting documentation for our application. We are expecting a response from UIF by the end of September and we should be able to provide all members with the next steps and detailed planning on when the placements will occur.

We will ensure that the project is managed with clear timelines to allow all members to prepare
