Research study: Factors impacting the effectiveness of the tourism levy administration on revenue collection in Gauteng

University of Pretoria Masters student, Bernard Bonginkosi Ripinga, is researching topic is on the “effectiveness of tourism levy administration on revenue collection in Gauteng graded accommodation establishments”. 

The purpose of this study is to understand the factors impacting the effectiveness of the tourism levy administration on revenue collection in Gauteng graded accommodation establishments. Specifically, the study seeks to understand the factors that influence Gauteng graded accommodation establishments whether to collect or not to collect the tourism levy before COVID-19 pandemic.

Your answers will be treated as strictly confidential and you will not be identified or named in the research based on your responses. Moreso, the questionnaire is anonymous.

Instructions: The questionnaire consists of three sections A, B and C. You are requested to please choose the appropriate answers based on your experience and knowledge about the tourism levy and elaborate your answer where necessary in the spaces provided. The responses will be used for academic purposes only. Completion of the questionnaire will take approximately about 10 minutes.
