The following notices issued by the Mpumalanga Economic Regulator [MER] may be of interest to some hotel groups who have casino interests and independent establishment members with gambling activities located in Mpumalanga.

1] The MER has published a notice re applications for –
- Limited Pay-Out Machines Licences
This invitation is open from the date of publication of this notice until such time the Board announces its closure or publishes a revised RFA. The aforementioned RFA is open for clarification questions until 09 May 2022. Prospective applicants may submit applications to Mpumalanga Economic Regulator via email to licensing@mer.org.za.
2] In addition, the MER has published an invitation to submit an expression of interest for the following gambling activities –
- Casino licence
- Bingo licences
- Bookmaker licences
