KwaZulu-Natal Gaming and Betting Tax Amendment Bill 2021

The Secretary for the KwaZulu-Natal Legislature has published a KwaZulu-Natal Gaming and Betting Tax Amendment Bill 2021 for comment.

The comment period is somewhat short being only 15 days from today.

The amendment, in the main, provides for the update of certain gaming tax rates, the reallocation of tax revenues, changes to certain definitions and additional matters.

A broad outline of the contents is provided on page 13.

The amendment will be of interest to all of those members who provide casino and or limited pay-out machines facilities.
