Join the FEDHASA & SA Chefs Collaborative Cook-off on 21 September 2022

FEDHASA Cape and SA Chefs are collaborating on this special event, as we want to expand and create more opportunities and collaborative events to support our memberships. The initial event was a cook-off centered around sustainability.

This year is no different, the scope has been widened to:Sustainability with an emphasis on food wasteS.A. culinary & cultural food identity; wellness, safe kitchensProfessional networking and mentorships

DATE: Wednesday 21st September 2022
TIME: 08h00 till 12h30
VENUE: Food Jams, Salt Orchard Precinct, 45 Yew St, Woodstock

The format is that a few team leaders are chosen. Then participants are split into random teams to prepare amazing food with free-range proteins, *misshapen vegetables, SA indigenous ingredients and many more fabulous sustainable products!! Teams will create family-style platters which everyone will share on a harvest table.

The foods will celebrate both SA’s cultural heritage and sustainability.
