Invitation: Closing event of the Food and Packaging Waste Prevention and Reduction Initiative

The CGCSA in partnership with the Department of Trade, Industry and Competition (DTIC), the Department of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment (DFFE), has since 2019 been working on the Food and Packaging Waste Prevention and Reduction Initiative. This landmark initiative culminated in the launch of the South African Food Loss and Waste Voluntary Agreement on 29 September 2020.

We wish to inform you that the Food and Packaging Waste Prevention and Reduction Initiative project funded by the SA-EU Dialogue Facility, comes to an end in March 2022. To commemorate this important milestone,  the  CGCSA will be hosting  an  event  on  Wednesday,  23  March  2022, where signatories and other stakeholders will be reporting on the progress and achievements made towards food and packaging waste.

The CGCSA cordially invites you to celebrate the success of the project.
