FEDHASA Survey: Load shedding impact on your business

Recent and ongoing load shedding events have taken a significant toll on our operations, with businesses across the sector resorting to diesel generators as a source of backup power. While this solution helps us maintain service levels during power outages, it also brings with it a considerable financial burden due to the high cost of diesel fuel.

In response to this crisis, FEDHASA is engaging in active dialogue with government, advocating for a diesel rebate scheme that could alleviate the financial pressure our businesses are experiencing. To succeed in this advocacy, however, we need comprehensive, real-world data to convey the gravity of the situation effectively. As you know we have already asked you for feedback information – but we are now requiring more comprehensive information to provide the necessary ammunition to make a comprehensive case to Government to include our sector in the diesel rebate that is available to other sectors.

We are reaching out to you to assist us in this mission by participating in a brief survey. Your responses will not only provide the necessary data to support our proposal but will also help us understand your business’s specific challenges and needs better, allowing us to tailor our services and lobbying efforts more effectively.

Your participation is crucial, and we appreciate your time and input. All responses will be handled with the utmost confidentiality. Please submit your responses by 21 July 2023.
