Are you Graded? Up to 100% Free Membership -Do not miss out

The Tourism Grading Council of South Africa (TGCSA) and The National Department of Tourism are currently running an incentive programme offering establishments up to 100% free membership as a drive to encourage grading and promote the highest level of Quality in Tourism. This is applicable for new grading applications, as well as renewals.

To qualify for this incentive discount, please click here to upload your documents, which will be automatically sent once the application process has been approved by the TGCSA.

Please have the following documents on hand which will be requested during the application process:

  1. Copy of a current and valid SARS Tax Clearance Certificate
  2. Copy of the owner’s ID/Passport document
  3. Certified copy of B-BBBEE certificate OR an affidavit
  4. Copy of relevant Business Registration Document

[This is dependent on the nature of the registered entity: for a Close Corporation or Private Company, this would be a copy of the registration documents issued by the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC); for a Cooperative this would be a copy of registration documents and constitution; for a Partnership, this would be a copy of the Partnership Agreement; for a Trust, this would be a copy of the Trust Deeds; and for a Sole Proprietor, this would be a copy of the personal Identity Document of the sole proprietor.]

5. Copy of Public Liability Insurance document

6. Liquor License (if applicable)

Once the application process has started it can take anything from 2 weeks – to 1 month from the actual assessment to approval by the TGCSA committee.
