2021 SABC TV Licence Update – Renew your FEDHASA Membership to benefit

We know you are still grappling with the impact of COVID on your businesses and realise that 2021 will continue to be an extremely tough year for us all. More than ever, we know that member benefits that help you save on expenses are where one of FEDHASA’s core focusses must lie.

To that end, I’m pleased to advise that we have been able to secure once again the 25% discount on your SABC TV Commercial Licences. In most cases, this benefit actually offsets your annual membership fee of FEDHASA and therefore is a no-brainer from a cost-saving perspective.

Please also be reminded that your FEDHASA membership with its Employers Body Registration entitles you to the right to representation at the CCMA and also serves as proof of your business operating within the Hospitality Sector, now a requirement when submitting UIF/TERS claims.

For more details about ‘How to get the most out of your FEDHASA Membership’, please click here.

We encourage you to ensure that your membership is in good standing before the cut-off date 21 June 2021 to take advantage of these amazing benefits.

We of course understand that many members are not in a position to settle their outstanding fees at once and we would like to assist by extending the following payment arrangement to ensure timeous good standing:

Please confirm in writing if you would like to put a payment arrangement in place. Only written requests will be accepted.

Written request to be submitted by 10 May 2021 to your respective FEDHASA Office
50% due by 25 May 2021 and remaining 50% due by 25 June 2021

Disclaimer: With respect to the implementation of the POPI Act effective 01 July 2021, please let us know if you have any objection to us sharing your contact details with the SABC to ensure that your discount is applied to your respective account. We accept no response as your permission to share these details.

Our door is open should you have any questions or wish to discuss a special arrangement.
